  How to enable email relay on Salesforce.com

To complete the implementation you must configure Salesforce.com to relay email through our outbound gateways. Please follow the instructions below to enable the relay.

  • Log into Salesforce.com as a user with Admin rights
    • From the User Menu, select Setup
    • In the Quick Find field, type Email Administration
    • Select Email Relay Activation
    • From the Email Relay Activation menu
      • Email Host
        • Enter obsmtp01.smarsh.com
      • Port
        • Enter 25
      • TLS Setting
        • Select Preferred
      • Restrict Relay To Domains
        • Leave blank
      • Active
        • Click to enable
      • Click Save

Once you have completed the above steps, it is suggested you test email deliverability.
