  Instructions to Archive Using Compliance BCC Option on

**Before starting, you will need your unique 'Compliance BCC Email Address' from a Smarsh technician. This is provided via email.

Our technical support department is able to verify if your SalesForce is actively sending messages to Smarsh. If archiving is not working, and it is determined there is an issue with your SalesForce, our ability to troubleshoot is limited. We will do our best to verify that our systems are working correctly and point you in the right direction to troubleshoot the problem.

Archiving Setup:

  • To complete the implementation you must configure to automatically send copies of email to a journaling address Please follow the instructions below to enable the relay.
    • Log into as a user with Admin rights
    • From theUser Menu, selectSetup
    • In the Quick Find field, type 'Email Administration'
    • Select Compliance BCC Email
    • From the Compliance BCC Email menu
      • Select the Enable checkbox
      • Compliance BCC Email
        • Enter your unique 'Compliance BCC Email Address' from Smarsh
    • Click Save
